Choose the Surface Customers Will See and Touch
Brown Kraft Paper
Brown kraft can give a warm, natural paper appearance. Review its shade, texture and the effect on printed colors using a sample. Brown appearance alone does not identify recycled content, responsible sourcing or the product inside.
White Kraft Paper
White kraft gives a different background for artwork and color contrast. Compare the actual paper and printing sample rather than assuming every white grade has the same brightness or performance.
Paper with an Outer Film
In a construction such as MATOPP / kraft / VMPET / PE, the outer MATOPP is the surface customers touch. The paper remains part of the structure, but the feel is different from directly exposed kraft.
Printed Paper-Look Film
A brown or textured design can be printed on a plastic pouch. If actual paper content or direct paper texture matters, tell us explicitly so the proposed structure and sample match your aim.
Let the Inner Layers Do Their Jobs
Paper can provide presentation and mechanical functions, while barrier films and sealants perform separate jobs. The correct structure depends on your product and process.

Product Visibility
The nuts-pouch project below shows a horizontal clear window. Clear film remains across the viewing area; the paper is not a complete barrier at that position. Review the window’s size, placement and protection with the rest of the pouch.
Readable Artwork
Discuss contrast, white areas and legibility on the selected paper shade or outer film. Free design begins with your idea, logo or reference image and includes unlimited revisions and free layered print-ready files after approval.
Features for Your Product
Choose the zipper, valve, tear opening and pouch format with the intended contents and filling method. A window or valve shown on one project is not a standard feature for every paper bag.
Published Paper and Paper-Laminate Projects
These projects list the paper and other layers used in their construction. They help you compare appearance and pouch formats. A kraft look or a project title is not evidence that a finished bag belongs in paper recycling or compost.
Kraft / PET / PE Window Pouch
This nuts-and-seeds project lists kraft paper / PET / PE and shows a horizontal product window. The paper provides the exterior presentation; clear film covers the window and PE provides the sealing layer. The construction is a paper-and-plastic laminate, so its kraft appearance is not a paper-recycling claim.

Clear, practical answers to kraft paper layers, barrier laminations, clear windows, recycling claims and free design services.
No. A pouch can contain a real paper layer, have film covering that paper, or use a printed paper-look design on plastic. Ask for the complete structure and review a material sample. If directly exposed kraft texture or a specific paper content is important, state that in your enquiry.
They give different backgrounds for artwork and different visual presentation. The selected grade, outer surface and printing process affect the actual color and feel. Compare samples of the proposed construction. Brown paper does not automatically prove recycled content or responsible sourcing, and white paper does not establish food-contact suitability.
