A Bottom Gusset That Opens for Shelf Display
A stand-up pouch has front and back faces and a bottom gusset that unfolds when the pouch is filled. Its display behavior depends on the base construction, material and product inside. Choose the format with your intended fill and shelf presentation in mind.
Choose the Structure Around Your Product
Review the bottom construction on the sample and approved drawing. Rounded, K-style or folded-bottom terms describe different seal arrangements; the final bag should be identified by its actual drawing rather than by a name alone.

Resealable Zipper

Plan tear access and optional hanging display outside the areas needed for the final seal. Keep critical artwork and wording clear of cutouts and sealing zones.

A pre-made pouch needs an opening and seal area that work with your process. If you use an automated line, share the pouch-handling requirements and the equipment details you know. Hand filling also needs enough opening space for the product and any scoop or funnel.

Trial the net fill and leave the headspace and clean seal area required by your process.
